Michael Keane agrees new Everton contract By Agency
Everton defender Michael Keane has signed a new five-year deal with the club.
Keane played every minute of the Toffees’ post-lockdown Premier League fixtures last season, becoming a key figure under Carlo Ancelotti.
With his previous deal set to expire in two years, Everton have now secured the 27-year-old down until 2025.
“I have loved my three years at Everton and am looking forward to seeing what the future holds,” he told the club’s official website.
“I am learning every day on the training pitch with the manager and all his staff.
“My best years are definitely ahead of me,” the England international added.
“I am working on things every day… striving to get better in every part of my game and, hopefully, I can show that.”
Keane has made 94 Premier League appearances since signing from Burnley in 2017, scoring three goals.
