Catholic Bishop of Yola builds estate with 86 houses for IDPs in Adamawa state

The Catholic Bishop of Yola, Most Reverend Dam Mamza, is building an estate with 86 houses for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Adamawa state.

The news was shared by an educational books publisher and tech enthusiast on Twitter, Mr. Gbenro Adegbola.

Adegbola wrote:

“Most Reverend Dam Mamza, Catholic Bishop of Yola is building an 86 duplex estate for IDPs. This is almost more than the state government!
“So far 20 houses have been completed, creating job opportunities in the host community, where 90% of the workforce is from.”

Legit.ng gathered that the Bishop is also building schools too and has converted his cathedral to an IDPs camp, where children from all religions are welcome to study.
